In Januari this year I went together with Magda Pucci to the Encontro de Culturas do Mundo in Imbassaí (Bahia). With my smartphone I recorded interviews, concerts, dances, workshops and performances. It started at the beach with openingsceremonies of the Familia Menezes and the indigenous Fulni-ô. You will hear short and long pieces of the recordings I made at the Espaço Tangará Mirim, with interviews of the Guarani singer-songwriter Tainara Takua, Mestra Penha and Zé Silva, Enrique Menezes and accordeonist and composer Gabriel Levy. You will hear also a special performance of Chegança dos Marujos from Saubara (header photo). The CD tracks: Mestra Penha, the Fulni-ô and Gabriel Levy. Enjoy the diversity of the world and of Brazil!
